Jiaqi Li is currently a fifth year Architectural Engineering student at The Pennsylvania State University. He will graduate in May of 2019 with an Integrated Bachelor/Master degree in Architectural Engineering mechanical option. Jiaqi is an active member in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineering (ASHRAE).

Jiaqi's previous summer have consisted of two internships with differently focused companies. The most recent internship is in the summer of 2018. Dalian Architectural Design & Research Institute Co. Ltd. gave Jiaqi a great opportunity to work as an mechanical system designer with experienced mechanical engineers. The collaborative environment gave Jiaqi a great opportunity to experience different mechanical system designing process and work on real world building standards.

 

Outside of school, Jiaqi enjoys spending time with his friends. He is a great fan of swimming and e-sports. He has won a competition held by Chinese Undergraduate Student Associate(CUSA) with his 4 teammates in 2018. Beside these, Jiaqi also enjoys travel to different part of the world to see various building, cultures as well as great food.
